Hello there,
while trying to set up my company's PDM PRO we have set the workflow and a serial Drawing Number in the drawing data card.
As soon as the drawing gets released (or approved as stated in our workflow) the serial number disappears.
I am attaching our workflow as well.
Could someon suggest us a solution please?Do you have any idea why this is happening?

What happens during the "Approval" or "Change Approval" transitions? I'm curious what actions are taking place on the transition as shown in my example below.

That looks like it may be correct. I was wondering if it was just something quick to help diagnose, however PDM is complex and difficult to diagnose over a few image posts on the forum. I suggest that you contact your VAR if you're on subscription and have them help troubleshoot.
Additional places to check for the issue may be in your data card setup or even variable setup/mapping.

What does your variable attribute mapping look like for that Drawing Number variable?

$PRPSHEET means, that this variable is bound to the components (part, assy) variable. So it‘s overwritten...

Hi there,
after setting the serial number in PDM I want to print it on our title block drawing template. Although the number is running ok everytime I create a new drawing the number of the first number that was on while creating the template is always appearing. the number get corrected after checking in the file, but it causes great confusion as it is. I would expect to have a clear field in our template before checking in and after checking the file to have the right number apperaing. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you in advance.
