Something has changed in my SW setup and I can't figure it out. If I start an assembly and then insert a component then the component does not show it's features in the feature tree. The component is there and it has a "Features" folder but nothing displays. I have to click "edit component" and that forces the features of the component to display.

It used to be that when I inserted a component then the features of that component displayed like I was editing the part itself. Not anymore. Is there a configuration setting for this?
