Visualize face normals messed up

Hi everyone, I'm having problems in visualize with assembly components displaying in this semi-transparent-almost woven look. For example in the below image the faceplate is not supposed to be transparent.

I checked the usual culprits
the part has a plastic material with opacity set to zero

changing the material does not fix the issue.

I've checked for duplicate bodies in close proximity.

What's interesting is that if I insert the part by itself into the visualize scene it looks perfectly normal

It only does this when I attach an assembly and as you can see in the above image, not all assembly components do this.
I've tried forcing a rebuild on the assembly, saving it and re-importing it.
I'm not sure what I can do here. Any help would be hot.

Hi John,

Do a body check in SW to make sure there are no topological errors. I've seen this before when the part was corrupt in SW.

Hi,

does another part/body exists? Could be set to transparent or invisible in SWX...

Maybe a layout part / main body of design?

Yes, after exporting the assembly to Blender, I discovered that there was an envelope part and a duplicate that, although hidden in Solidworks managed to catch the ray tracer.
The parts are listed by material in the tree so it's hard to locate them and the part is also hidden in visualize because when click on and hide the affected part, there's nothing underneath to see or select.

It's a little bit nutsifying.

On the upside, I learned that if you export from Visualize to GLTF, the model comes in with textures and UVW maps in Blender.
