I have been using the drive works addon pack to automate a assembly now I just need to change the path of those parts and the whole assembly, when I try to doing that the assembly gets the reference. But in driveworks the parts are not visible in the captured list, as I try to capture the part it says there is already a part of the same name associated with the drive works.
You are getting this error because the file with the same name is already linked with DriveWorksXpress. Checkout "Captured Models" section.
Also, make sure to move newly created files from the default master model location using the "Pack & Go" tool.

I am not quite sure what exactly the issue has occurred but you can check file references of DriveWorksXpress models using the .mdb file in Microsoft Access. File locations can be seen in "AssemblyType" and SW drawings in "DriveWorksDrawings".
Please note: the .mdb file is a database file for your DriveWorksXpress project and DO NOT change any parameter. As well as take backup.

First of all my concern is about the master model not the newer ones.
If I open the .mdb file it shows a reference where there is no parts as such, I moved those parts to a new location, now how do I edit or update the new path or reference in that .mdb file.

First of all, as I have mentioned earlier, you should not change any parameters in the .mdb file. It is for reference only.
Secondly, for your file location issues, check whether the main assembly has the correct file location or not. Take backup of all files and try this walkaround if possible.
1. Use Pack & Go (with all reference files attached) and transfer to another location.
2. In DriveWorksXpress, Click on Create/Change database.
3. Select the .mdb file.
4. In the project section, double click on the assembly file and browse for a new location.
Using this method, I think your problem can be resolved.

I tried the same, did a pack and go to a different path and deleted the actual folder from the old path, now when I open the driveworks it asks me to browse the parts, I browse it to the new folder, it captures all the assemblies and sub-assemblies, but parts associated with those sub-assemblies doesn't when I try to capture the same error pops up.

I recommend checking the file name for each SW file and try to give a unique name.

I was actually asking (for eg: I have a model in the path C:/Driveworks, I used this specific model for automation, now I change the path of the same assembly which I used earlier to D:/Model1, now when I try to run the drive works from the new path this error pops up.
