I have unique multibody part files with configurations and equations inserted into an assembly. Is there an easy way to "break part" these bodies and rearrange them within the assembly? It would be be a similar effect to deleting all mates. I have so many that doing a save bodies within each part file would be cumbersome.
I need to do this for manufacturing purposes. basically take all the bodies and lay them flat.

I don't think it works well to suppress the bodies in the assembly as it gets messy. i remember some time ago having problems with this.

I agree. A better option would be to use Delete Bodies features, active or suppressed as appropriate for each configuration.
I don't like save bodies because of all the work and "forest fires" it causes.
The only alternative AFAIK would be Move/Copy Bodies, done on the part level of course.
