I am dealing with the problem, which has cost me already a lot of waste time, and I am not able to find some solution.
In my assemblies with multiple configurations and exploded views sometimes appear this issue and not able to find out what is wrong.
The problem I have is when I switch to another configuration and then back, some of the exploded components return to their original position and they are not exploded any more. This happens only with some of the configurations. Switching to different ones and than back doesn’t create this effect.
This “moving” components are patterned and mirrored. I have try the solution found here:
VIEW STAYS EXPLODED AFTER SWITCHING CONFIGURATIONS | MySolidWorks
But not working for me.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Thank you very much and best regards
I have actually find the reason of that behavior, but any idea why this is happening and how to avoid that.
When I switch to some of the configurations, than back, the instance number of some of the mirrored components is increased. Switching the configurations, follow increasing.<47> -> <49>….53 ….. Switching to some another configuration and then back, remains the same. Is not changing.
As the instance number is different, the name of the component change and component is not included in the explosion step. In the exploded view remains components that doesn’t exist any more … ???
