I'm working with flow simulation and I'm trying to get a graph that shows shear stress on the bottom surface vs the distance the fluid is flowing. I need something that displays the shear stress at various points along the bottom of the flow chamber I'm modelling.
I'm thinking I need to make an XY plot but when I try to do that it gives me an error saying it cannot compute any parameters. I've attached an image of my attempt. Any ideas?
Are you looking for shear-rate or shear stress?
The shear stress at any point on the bottom surface between the inlet and outlet

I can't seem to reproduce your error ; have you tried to :
check the surface on which the sketch is drawn
check that you can plot other things on the sketchs you've drawn
try to rise the resolution of the plot in the "Resolution" tab
Or try to restart Solidworks (?).
Thanks again, I selected the sketch for the rectangle inside the flow chamber and that was able to produce the plot l was looking for
