You bought the wrong version of Solidworks! You have a Professional, you must upgrade to ProFASTional!
Computer specs? If SNL license, how far from license server and how many license servers in the list of servers?
Does it only do this long delay when loading SolidWorks?
If yes, the registry may be looking for non existent files / folders / paths, external drives, ...
Are the files on a server or network device and it is having to search a busy server?
Is this only on your system or do others there have the same issue?
Turn off add-ins or extra programs, reboot and see if you can identify what slows it down and what has not affect.
