I don't do this often but when I do it seems really cumbersome. So much so I suspect I'm not doing it right....but some times when I say that it's just that SW is not very good at doing it, in which case I'm going to add an enhancement to the TTL.
What is the proper/Best/Preferred method of placing things like weldnuts etc into a weldment?
Today I had a weldment that I was welding in four purchased standoffs to. The standoffs were located with holes and would be welded in place.
When I inserted the first one I did the same thing I always did, "Locate with constraints". Things I don't like or couldn't figure out.
1) There's no multiple insert. You have to insert the part new every time.
2) There's no "Copy with mates", again back to insert each one
3) There's no "Sketch driven pattern"...again back to inserting each one.
So What's the better way?
