When I do a BOM drawing, typically the first thing that happens is the insertion of the BOM table.  The BOM table is then (usually) trimmed as necessary, then the balloons are added to the drawing views.

But can I do that backwards...much more efficiently?

Say I have an assembly with 50 parts, but I only care about and wish to balloon 10 of them.

Can I first add those 10 balloons (with sequential, first come, first serve 1-10 numbering), then generate a BOM table that covers only those 10 items?

Thanks for any help.
