Edrawing 2017 ignores the opaque appearance setting for SW envelope parts/assemblies. Can anyone tell me if there is a Workaround. Currently all envelope parts/asm are shown in their standard Colors when opened up in edrawing.
Also in solidworks/edrawings 2019 it's the same.
I think the reason for this is that the transparancy is not a material but a kind of postprocessing that Solidworks does.
You can hide a component or set it transparant in eDrawings. But you probably want a more automatic way?
Thanks for the heads up. It would be a bummer if this was the default behaviour. I don't understand why the Viewer would not have an envelope Option Setting.
