I don't know about you, but I don't do the EV versions, nor the Beta releases.

I have done all versions without issues since 1995. Make sure Windows setups and hardware are correct. I have never been scared to use the first version.
I can't even download the EV versions. they down show up in the 'check for updates' app, nor are they available in the downloads page and to head off the question, yes, I have checked notifications for early visibilty and beta programs in my customer portal profile.
Full release isn't out, only EV
It wasn't there yesterday, which is why I mentioned so. Even though the date says 11/02/2020, the portal is the first place I look up. Proof it was added today is that my portal now gives the notification of it being added.

I have installed it without any issues.
Goto Documents \ Solidworks Downloads
and delete SOLIDWORKS 2020 SP05 folder.
Try install again.
Could be problem downloading files during installation.

Do not post you log files publicly, they contains your serial number and other details. Remove those details before sharing or do not share..
