Hello all,
I am doing a CG analysis of a large assembly. Rather than getting the CG for the assembly from the assembly editor (mass properties tab), I am wondering if their is a way to get a list of CG's in a BOM, or another table, that will give me each part CG referenced from a common, user selectable point.
For the record I am using SW 2006 SP.3. I know some may say why not use the mass prop. tab. The reason is, I can get a better picture of how to move individual components around the assembly in order to acheive a Global CG change.
Thank you,
-Ian

The problem with this is the CG reference for each part is not on a global coordinate system, rather it is referenced from the orgin of each part.
Any ideas on how to link the CG from each part to a global coordinate system, please let me know.
