Has anyone at a US based company converted over to 1st angle projection? We are a US division of a global company based out of Europe and there is a push to standardize our drawings globally. So we are on the topic of 1st/3rd angle projection and since the US and Korea are the only divisions using 3rd, they want us to go to 1st angle. Besides the obvious "retraining" our brains to thinking the opposite way of projection, what other considerations or pitfalls should we be aware of?
The inch to metric conversion seems easier in comparison to the projection switch as it's isn't as obvious at first.
Just curious to hear any success/failure stories and what to watch out for.
