Toolbox component sizes don't display properly in 2019, but do in 2020

After reinstalling SolidWorks 2019 SP5.0, toolbox component sizes don't display properly (everything is huge), but they do display properly when the assembly is opened in 2020. So that tells me the size data for the components is in the file, but it's not apparently being read correctly by 2019.

I need to work on this project in 2019 (client hasn't moved to 2020 yet), so migrating the assembly to 2020 is not an option. I have set my Toolbox folder in 2019 to the "SolidWorks 2019 Data" folder with "Make this folder the default search location" checked. This is the way it's set in 2020 (but obviously pointing to SolidWorks 2020 Data).

There has to be a way to get 2019 to read that data, right? Any suggestions? I'd rather not have to go through each assembly and re-set the fasteners.
