I know there are a few hidden properties in SW files, like IsFastener that tells if a part is created using the toolbox or not. Is there a list of these properties and what they mean?
That's the only one I've heard of. It's not a standard property either, it's only in toolbox parts. It's possible to create and edit your own hidden properties using API.
there are more than one,
you have a list in the "properties.txt" file, if you open it, you will see them inside.
but maybe there's others that don't appear in that txt file.
the properties listed in that text file are not hidden - they are right there . and that txt file is completely customizable. - it is there solely to populate this dropdown
thanks Jeremiah, i already know everything on that txt file,
i'm a little disapointed you think i don't know much about that file
i used the "hidden" not in that way, i know it's available, and we can have access by this windows,
there is also a shortcut button to the right, but we can't see it on your image.
i mean "hidden" in terms of : not all commons-basics SW-users know about it.
and before custimizing that file, do a backup save, leave the original file in SW folder,
copy it to a new place on the network,
go in SW setting to set the new path for it,
then modifiy the new-txt
i also mean "hidden" because it contains some of the "hidden SW properties" names...
in mine txt (because i keep the original file) i can count 5 hidden SW properties
those are not "hidden" properties either - they would be more correctly called "default" or "reserved" properties.
yes, reserved, but i just used same "words" as the original question, for better understanding from asker.

Interesting tactic... If you don't know the answer to a question, just change the meaning of a few words in the question until it matches something you do know... Then answer that question.
This is a little tangent to the topic at hand, but did you know if you print to PDF with Bluebeam Revu (similar to Acrobat) the Custom Properties appear in the PDF as file properties?
Here's an SPR on having this happen when you save a PDF as an option. I don't know why they don't implement this...
SPR # 1065137 SOLIDWORKS - Save As PDF - provide option to allow user to copy custom properties from the SOLIDWORKS file to the PDF
Here's what it looks like when accessed with the PDF open:
i agree with the term "hidden properties"
because in SW-help they are not easy to find, or explain the use, and some a simply not referenced in the SW-help....
here is another one for DRW = SWFormatSize
the value is self-calculated by SW (when you change sheet-size, the value update)
