Hi

I have been looking into layer mapping for DXF export and I have found some good articles on layer mapping but none seem to have instruction on how to export sheet metal DXF patterns for laser cutting with custom notes on the DXF to show material type / thickness and profile name etc (properties linked to sldprt file). I saw one option of a 3rd party software but Solidworks should be able to do this should it not??

Can someone please show me the way here...

Currently exporting the flat pattern as a DXF then opening in eDrawing and adding a mark up to the DXF. So ending up with a .dxf file and a .edrw file of the same profile.
