Some times when you edit a feature in the tree you can see some of the features below the editing feature get affected. How will you deal with such a situation?
Is converting the file into parasolid file better option? What do you think?
The only fix for that, or at least the best fix for it, is to control references to features higher in the tree. If there aren't any references to higher features then they won't be affected by edits.
you have to master the parent-child effect :
with mates (for ASM)
with 3d geometric (feature)
with sketch-relation (sketch)
Attach example file here that illustrates the issue.
There is no particular file in question. I encountered this issue very many times. As Glenn Schroeder suggested one way to reduce it is minimizing depend on references.
Use the BORN Technique as much as possible and practical.
I assume BORN Technique mean exploiting the primary planes to a maximum limit. I do this.
