How can I change draftsight to be a default viewer application (instead of edrawings).
Or is there a way to open draftsight without "file opened as read only" notification at start?
Are you the one who paid for draftsight?
We paid for it too... there is no alternative except overpriced autocad.
Anyway I am trying to open files on EPDM with VBA (from excel)... So we use conisio links in our database.
Is there a way to open files from epdm and update them to latest version as they are opened?
What about nanocad? even nanocad pro is cheaper is it not, but nanocad has a free version that works well enough for us.
Look up how to associate a file extension in Windows.
Right click a file of the type you wish to associate and select Properties.
On the General Tab, click Change under opens with:
If Draftsight isn't listed, click more apps and browse for it:
Repeat for each extension you wish to associate with Draftsight.
