Hello Gang,

The Make Independent command is not working intuitively. I want to check to see if I'm doing something wrong.

I make a component independent in my assembly. The assumption is this will become a new, unique, part. I get to save the part as a new part number. I get a message that a new file has been saved to the vault. So far so good!

The trouble begins when I want to check it in. My PDM interface wouldn't allow me to check it in or out. So, I started poking at it. Now it is even stranger I get the history tree from the assembly in my part.

Does anyone else see this?
