Want to change my default drawing template to have the dimension lines Green and the Dimension Text Black.
I thought I'd done this before in an earlier version, now cannot find the ability to make this change.
AFAIK it is not possible to set a different color for the text and the dimension lines.
What you can do is use la green layer to put the dimensions on, but in that case both the text and the dimension lines will be the same color of the layer.
Don't forget to toggle the Color Display Mode, otherwise you will see the dimension following the standard instead of your beautiful color.
As Eddy has said I don't think you can have different colours for the dimension lines and the dimension text.
I you want to change the colours for all your drawings the setting is in System Options - Colors
Pretty sure that this is the best that you can do:
How to Control the Color of Dimensions in SOLIDWORKS
And here are some alternative solutions if you are trying to make a couple of dimensions specifically different:

Another thread popped up with a solution:
I post it here so you don't miss it.
Thanks Eddy, I should have replyed to this thread, too.
