This circular braid model has given us a competitive advantage so I will not post the parametric model.  The attached  parasolid files shows what can be done if you’re willing to do the work.

The inside diameter is .375” with either 4” or 20” lengths.  On a pretty old workstation, Ctrl-Q takes about 10 seconds for a 4” long configuration while the 20” long configuration takes about 30 seconds.  Variable input includes length, inside diameter, strand diameter, clearance amount, and strand helix angle.  Formulas in a design table and equations control the shape in multiple configurations.
