Hi Andy / solidworks corporation,

We request you whole library for routing, if you have then please give it to all solidworks routing users. Also the threaded fittings in solidworks library cannot be used as a socket welded fittings, cause it does have the slight difference in its dimensions. So all solidworks users will require the socket welded components also. Se if you / solidworks corporation can take these efforts at your end then this can reduce the efforts world wide. And the preparation of library at users end may cause mistakes and time loss.

So I once again request you or solidworks corporation.

Hi Sandip,

We have asked Tech support to place the files on their ftp site for you. They will then send a link and password for you to download them from there. Alternatively, you could talk to your systems people. The download problem is almost certainly caused by your firewall.

I was in Pune last week. I had a great trip.

    Yes, the libraries should be available through the Solidworks Resources in the taskpane.
    
    We are working to make more library data more readily available for download. Including the library that Merry Owens created that currently we don't seem to have available anywhere.

        Hi all,
        
        The attached video shows how to access the excellent library files that Merry Owens created. This data is in its original format and release so after download, as suggested on the web page you should upgrade the parts to your current release before using them.
        
        Essentially in the customer portal, goto tech tips & presentations and search for Product: Solidworks & Area: Routing
        
        I hope you all find this useful.
        
        We are planning to bring this library up to 2009/2010 versions in the near future, in the meantime at least with this you can download and use it.

I am struggling with creating a routing assembly. We have our fittings located on the network drive, but our design library location is local. Therefore, I am not able to drag and drop to begin a routing.

Any way around this?
