Dear Altruists,
I have a section of a ship that is composed of different sizes of beams and plates. I would like to make a chart of all materials comprising the position of the center of gravity (longitudinal, vertical, and transverse w.r. to origin) for each component. Measuring the LCG, VCG, and TCG seems a time-consuming task for a large object with many parts. Could you please suggest how can I do that in Solidwork?

Thanks. I know this option which is time-consuming. But I would like to find a way of calculating CG individually of all parts.
You might find a macro (make one yourself) to do just this. As you say, it is time consuming if you have to do it for each part individually. As Richard Gergely correctly states, you can find the CG, etc. for the entire assembly much more easily.
