I think I know what to do. It was so simple that I completely overlooked the obvious (I hope). I have a "D" size drawing and want to make it a "B". I don't want to lose the views already on the drawing so I think I can change the format of the drawing to a "B" size.
Too much garbage in the views. Dimensions that don't really dimension the part, just out in space when I scaled the view. Only one in almost 800 drawings so I'll ignore it for now and come back to it later and re-dimension it.
A single document can't have more than one template, so I'm afraid I don't understand your question. What's the difference between a sheet format and drawing template? may help, if you'd like to take a glance at it.
You can easily more a drawing view from one sheet to another if that's what you mean. There are two methods.
