Hi,
I have a problem when I use “NestAssm-mypart.dxf” cutting in the laser machine.
Here are my steps:
- My part in SolidWorks is made of splines. I do the nesting work in a piece of sheet.
- then I export the NestAssm-mypart.dxf which is made of sketch blocks. My laser cutting machine software can't recognize sketch blocks so I must explode the block.
- But the splines all become to many short lines. It severely reduces the cutting quality because it has too many join points.
My question is how to get a spline after I explode the sketch blocks in NESTINGWorks?
It is possible in SWX to reduce the spline points.
