Since upgrading from 2019 to 2020 I've noticed that any time I create a section view in a drawing, the initial scale is set incorrectly. In 2019, the scale on a section view defaulted to "use parent scale" and appeared correctly on the drawing. Ever since upgrading to 2020, when I create a section view it still defaults to "use parent scale" in the view properties, but the actual view is scaled smaller than that.
In a drawing I am editing today the primary view is set to "use sheet scale", which is 1:10. When I tried creating a section view from the primary view, the properties of the section view defaulted to "use parent scale" but the view itself was scaled to 1:100. Switching the properties to "use sheet scale" then back to "use parent scale" resulted in the section view being scaled correctly however.
I've had this issue on a few drawings now, but I can't remember if it always scales to 1/10 of the parent view, or if it scales to the square of the parent view. After I started writing this post I tried recreating the problem on a couple different drawings to check, but they scaled correctly... So now I'm not really sure what's going on. Has anyone else noticed this issue, or does anyone have any ideas as to why it might be doing this?
