I want to get the features for this part to reverse engineer. The featureworks keeps getting froze and It is asking for an iges file.

I cant see your file. Feature version.
First i would suggest to use "import diagnostic" and repair edges and gaps. Whatever type of file you work with i would export it as parasolid , and re-import.
BTW FeatureWorks in SW has only very limited use and i would recreate part from scratch.
.
Firstly - do NOT use featureworks on something this complex. It almost always builds something by the HDWP process.
Secondly - since this is just a four-cylinder crank shaft why don't you just remodel it using the measurements from the part itself? If you are particularly *lazy* you can bring this part into an assembly then model in place and copy all the features as you go along down the length of it. It is not that difficult to build this starting at one end and proceeding to the other.
Lastly - have fun, this is a good learning process part and you'll get a feel for planes, angles, etc. Don't forget to port your holes properly for lubrication.
