Bend lines are part of the sheet metal and flange features which don't survive the translation to STEP.
You'd have to create some geometry at the bend lines for them to make it into the STEP file, but of what value does having the bend lines in the step file create?
The part should be formed from the dimensioned final form. The fabricator will take care of where the bends should be located.
Thanks for your support.
I wanna export step file to be convenient for use on TruTops Software.I have tried using Creo Software to export the step file and have kept the curves on the step file. I don't know if solidworks can do it, I have tried a lots of ways but can not. If you know about this problem, you help me.
Bend lines can be exported to a DXF file.
Thank for your support.
I need a 3D file.
..for 3D,.. there is a export option to save the 2D and 3D sketches.. if you can grab/show them.. they should export with the brep.
Thank for you support.I can't find the brep file format on export. Can you support me?
