I have Solidworks 2019 student and every time I try to load it, it crashes while loading plastics. No report is shown, it just disappears. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it is the same problem.
Is this a duplicate post?
Where exactly is this menu? I have the same problem and I can't find that list.
Nino, You already drew a circle. under a circle, if you click "Add-ins", it supposes to show like Professor J.Mather picture.
I had the same problem, and I think I found the solution.
In file explorer, go to C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp
then drag the entire SOLIDWORKS Plastics folder out and put it somewhere else for the moment (I just put in on my desktop).
Then open up solidworks again and it should open.
You then go to the options list and hit Add-Ins. The menu that J. Mather comment shows should now be on screen
If the checkmark next to SOLIDWORKS Plastics is still there, make sure to un-check it (both boxes need to be empty).
You can then close the program, put the SOLIDWORKS Plastics file back in C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp, and restart solidworks. everything should work normally.
NOTE: From now on, trying to load the Plastics add-in from the add-in tab in the program itself will crash the program entirely. I don't use it, or know why it does this, so i just leave it alone. Dassault will probably have to make a patch for that I guess.
Good luck and I hope this helps!
