Hello,

I am trying to create a helix with a variable diameter and a variable profile.

I managed to create a 3D-sketch and to sweep the surface to get the variable diameter, but as I can only select one profile in the surface sweep feature I didn't manage to get the variable profile.

The circles seen in the picture are the sketch to define the profile and the helix is supposed to go through the center points of each circle.

I attached the file in the appendix. The one seen in the picture is v1. The v2 is another approach to achieve the same, similar to this tutorial: https://www.cati.com/blog/2016/06/advanced-helical-sweeps-in-solidworks/.

The helix needs to have a constant distance to itself, like the circles in the sketch. I can't get this to work in v2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
