how could I easily convert all internal space of assembly to some solid, ready for 3D print. Meaning all pipes/profiles etc would need to be filled...

Try the Intersect tool .
It's just normal structure made of hollow beams. Can't really put a model up here.

Permission may be granted to upload a parasolid model. Try it.
Probably the easiest way would be to have configuration based weldment profiles. One configuration with sketch for interior walls and one without interior walls.
You would also need to have no gaps in your joints. Otherwise would have to glue everything together.

It will create a part with all the enclosed spaces. You can then add it to the assembly to fill the voids.
It won't fill open-ended profiles though.
