Question about hardware upgrade.

Hi,

I am upgrading my laptop from an I5 processor to an I7 or I9 for using SolidWorks 2019, 2020 & PDM Client software (and SW2021 upon release). I am looking for advice as to whether I should go with an I7 processor or an I9. Here are a few things to consider:

1) There will be no need for simulation

2) There will not be any assembly's with more than 100 - 150 components.

3) All work will be done remotely using SolidWorks and PDM client.

The options are for a ZBook Mobile Workstation or G7 Notebook with 32GB of RAM with the option to get a NVIDIA graphics card. Either configuration with an I7 or I9 processor.
