I hit my spacebar and my orientation dialog box no longer appears. I have looked everywhere for it, but I can not find a way to make it reappear.
Check under the customization for your shortcuts if it's still there
(Right click on open toolbar area and select customize). I just installed SP4 yesterday and mine still works.
I also experience this all the time. It usually occurs after I've put my PC to sleep and then reawake. Sometimes the orientation dialog is there but way off the main screen etc. The only way I can get it back in these cases is to close down SW and re-launch.
Mark, I have had this issue for about 2 weeks or so now, and my computer is s shut down every night.
Tim, My shortcut is still listed as spacebar in my settings. To be clear it seems to have disappeared about two weeks before the SP4 install.
Will either of the methods described at How Do I Find a Lost Dialog Box? work?
Glen, I have tried both methods listed in your link plus some others in the question threads to no avail yet..
Ok, I have three monitors, I went into windows settings and switched my main monitor to a different one and the dialog box appeared again! I also switched it back to the original main monitor and the dialog box remained visible! IDK!??
Thank You for all the replies, it is very appreciated!
Thank you!! My Orientation dialog box has been missing for about a month now and this was the only thing that helped! I was about to go insane trying to find a way to save a new view.
I also switched my main monitor back to the original one after and the dialog box remained. Who knows how long it'll stick around but it's good to have an actual fix.
