I seriously doubt it. Since much is geometry based as soon as you change the references (i.e. face name) of a feature it will likely mess up the content you were copying. I have had success in copying content from one tab to another within the studies of a particular assembly/part. However, I have never tried to merge two or more assemblies. The only thing I can think of to suggest is to add your geometry into the model of a current study. You can ignore some parts, etc. within a study to keep the current tabs workable but you might have to freshen the tab with the excluded parts.
