Hey guys, I have been trying different ways to make a pipe saddle template for an 8" on 8" STD pipe 90 Deg saddle. I have tried every way that youtube shows with the sheet metal function but with no success. Every time I do it with the sheet metal, the circumference is wrong after I flatten the sheet metal and the dimensions were wrong when compared to my pipe template book. I know there has to be a way to get this right, if someone could show me how to make a 8" on 8" STD pipe 90 degree saddle, that would be much appreciated. I will post a picture of what the proper template layout and dimensions should be for checking accuracy.
