Hi,

I  don't understand why the surface thicken feature or surface offset NEVER works unless you are doing something real basic with no small radius corners.. This feature should automatically fix those small faces or delete them entirely and knit the overlapping faces together.

I understand the issues behind it, but I don't understand why the Solidworks team has not find a way to work around it for so many years. In worse case scenario by adding a wizard to this feature so that Solidworks still can generate '' something ''

It's not always ok to ask questions on forums because you have to share the models and many times the solution is complicated and time consuming. Anyone from Solidworks that have a fix just for that? Surely I'm not the only one with this issue. Many times when working with surfaces we need to add a thickness to it just to do other stuff or use it as a reference. But never does this work. Ok I'm not an expert but always loosing hours on this just to fix it doesn't seem a good, if any solution at all.
Am I missing something or will this forever remain a problem in the wonder-world of Solidworks?
