i hope the title didnt confuse anyone
so if you can picture i have a metal case that has a PCB fitted inside
There are mounting holes on the metal case where the PCB is concentrcally mated to the hole.
I need to move the Holes on the PCB but keep the outline of the PCB in the same location.......and then adjust the holes in the metal case to meet the moved holes in the pcb
So my question is can i edit the sketch that contains the holes in the metal case and somehow select the holes in the PCB and automatically centre the two - clearly the edited sketch would be the part that moves
is this possible - feels like it should be
thanks
Adrian
Just open the sketch of the PCB where the holes are positioned, draw some extra circles in the new positions, creating the new (extra) holes. In the assembly, you can use the new (extra) holes in the PCB to place new holes in the metal case. After this, you can remove all unused holes, break links between parts, make all sketches fully defined.
