I just bought the 2020-2021 version of Solidworks student edition, but it is working very scraggy. i was able to allocate more storage so Solidworks could work better but ca not get the graphic card certified error message resolved. Please advise.
make sure that you are using one of the supported graphics cards and update your graphics card driver to the latest version certified by SOLIDWORKS.
You're running SW in a non-certified OS with a non-certified emulator with possible non-certified hardware.
Which graphic card do you have in the Mac?
Only workstation cards are certified, Quadro and Radeon Pro.
Which graphic card does Parallel emulate to Windows/Solidworks?
Fredrick is right about the certified cards, that will be the first thing to look at. One thing to change about this however, boot camp for Mac's is not supported but Windows parallels are supported. Just make sure you have the correct version of parallels being used as per the link below.https://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/11168_ENU_HTML.htm
Why am I getting weird graphics issues?
