I have a problem with simulation of a stud connection joining together two identical rods.

I need to choose the threads and bolt diameter/length to optimize for primarily strength of the connection against lateral shearing.

When I try to use Solidworks bolt connection, I cannot find anything for studs !!

Can anyone help me? I'm attaching a screenshot as well as the assembly files
