I will apologize up front.  This is going to be more of a rant than a question.

I cannot believe there are people who us Solidworks Simulation as their primary tool for analysis, and they are still employed.  It crashes on me constantly. It will crash more than 50% of the time, until it finally finds a sweet spot and decides to behave for a while.  But it is so unreliable I don't even trust the results.  So I export them to Mecway for confirmation.

Are people really making a living using this product?  I have a simple model.  A single part with one face fixed and one face with a force applied.

First I got this message:

Followed by a crash.

Reboot, restart and the next error message is this:

Hitting "Run this study" again and it solves with no issues.

And this is after having Visualize crash on me several times in a row yesterday.
