I need to make an inspection drawing for some parts because
there is poor comunication between the manufacterer, our QA
department, and me (Engineering). The manufacterer and our QA
department each take a drawing that has dimensions labeled for
inspection and writes a letter or number next to the dimension.
Then creates an excel spreadsheet with the dimension label, min,
max, measured, and pass/fail. They then take a photo of the drawing
and insert it into the excel spreadsheet.
I want to make a drawing with the spreadsheet on it but I can't link the dimensions to cells in the spreadsheet. I can do this by creating a design table in the model but I don't want to do this just to make a table in the drawing.
Has anyone found a way to link drawing dimensions to cells in a table?
