I need to change the ribs so they have a draft angle and is thinner. But i only have access to a step file looking like this. 
Is there any feature to use or how would you do it?
i have tried to use feature recognizing wizard with no luck... (the part is pretty big and complex)

Have you tried adding draft to them, worse case dealing with imported files you sometimes need to cut or fill in a feature and remodel that part you need to change.

Just use the draft feature on the solid body?
Alternatively, you can also use MoveFace -- Rotation from Direct Editing (although not recommended)

You can use a FeatureWorks to recognizes features, after that just change a settings of feature.

Delete Face (if you need to remove the fillets or..)
Replace Face (add face/angle and replace face)
Everything feature in SW will work to achieve what you want.
Just add new features instead of trying to edit.
