Using mostly weldments in a multibody part file. Each body has been manually given a new entity name. There's a wish to add linked notes into the drawing, to display these names. Is it possible?
(The CAM software in use picks up specifically the entity names, that's why they're important.)

You're currently renaming the body within the tree and I don't believe this is exposed as a custom property for use in the drawing.
I believe Mr. Schroeder's reply is the workflow that will satisfy your issue.

I'm not sure what you're referring to as "entity name", but you can assign cut list properties to weldment bodies that can be linked to a note in a Drawing. You could name that property "Entity Name." Will that help?
