One recent addition SW2019 add the new sheet-tab under Material.
When we create custom material, the sheet-tab always appear.
The problem is when we want to apply that material to a body (PRT-weldment, so multi-body)
we get an error, and can't apply that material.
If we use the favorite, it work.
as we don't want-need "sheet-metal parameter" for that material, does anyone know how to disable it ?
that mean, return to normal material behaviour, like in 2018 and before.
others threads about it, but don't get my answer :
https://forum.solidworks.com/message/1027429?q=material%20sheet%20metal
i compared the SW-material and saw the difference,
as SW years evolution,
it appear that many files are simply not updated (even by a real new fresh install)
like the other thread where i talk about the DOT...
one work-around is the use of favorite, but don't fix the problem.
of course, it's explained nowhere in the SW-help...
here is one solution :
set for each material, the sheet-tab to "thickness" (last choice), but put nothing under.
