PDM PROPERTY MANAGER how to leave EMPTY FIELDS

Hello,

I have an standard part file with almost 100 configurations (similar to toolbox components).

This part was recently created and currently I'd like to use 2 of its configurations into one assembly.

The problem comes when I want to populate the BOM. In my company's system the BOM data comes from the following fields:

Part Number: File name or configuration name when option selected (no problem with this one).

Description: Description taken from PDM Property Manager "Description" field (here the problem comes).

As I only need 2 of 100 part configurations I wanted to update the "Description" field in the 2 configurations' PDM Property Manager but it won't allow me to leave blank values in the other 98 configurations' fields.

Is there a way to only update a couple of PDM property fields without filling the rest?

Thank you.
