I've attached an example file to the original post. Extrude 4-8 I'm trying to cut the rest of the pattern but am unable.
It looks like you have three types of the smaller bodies. Assuming it meets your design intent, I'd keep one of each, delete the rest, do the cuts, then pattern the bodies (either linear or circular) instead of trying to pattern the cuts.
