I need to get the name of the sheet format and use it as a check. Is it possible?
Dim Sheet_Format_Name as StringSheet_Format_Name = ???If Sheet_Format_Name = "some_name" Then Do stuff hereEnd If
Dim Sheet_Format_Name as String
Sheet_Format_Name = ???
If Sheet_Format_Name = "some_name" Then
Do stuff here
Use GetTemplateName method. E.g. macro here https://forum.solidworks.com/message/702739?commentID=702739#comment-702739
This worked perfectly for me. I wanted the entire path so not too difficult based on your example. Thanks!
I know you know programming much better than me. But, I went ahead and attached a macro I have used to change out sheet formats. I apologize to the people I borrowed the code from to kludge it together, I didn't keep track. Please let me know and I'll put credit for your help in the header.
I don't know about that, haha. I mostly piece things together I find in google searches. Much more difficult to find vba examples for Solidworks in searching though than for excel. Don't know what I would do without this forum.
