Im looking to buy a new laptop to run solidworks but not sure what route I should go. Looking for some real world reviews and advice?
Thanks
Hi,
what about your budget and the size/weight you want to go for.
Good choices are:
- HP ZBook (15 or 17)
- Dell Precision 5000 and 7000 series
They have Quadro GPUs built in, a solid build quality and a good and fast service (just in case of...)
Ok thanks, I will check them out. My budget is 2000-2500 tops.
is that USD/GBP/EUR or maybe YEN ?
We use Lenovo P50-P52. Works fine.
I'm happy with my ZBook 15 G5.
We have 3 designers using the Dell M6800 & it's a good performer. Have them on a docking station & multiple monitors on each for office use & then it has the 17" display. The power brick is a beast tho.
