I have  a math question. I have a vessel that was speced on the drawing as being .25" diameter by .992" long. The machinist over drilled the vessel to a .280" diameter by 1.135" length. I have to add material to the vessel to compensate for the larger volume, but I can only use a .094" diameter rod. How long must the rod be?
